The 70th annual awards banquet hosted by the Better Sports Club of Arlington celebrated the achievements of local high school student-athletes, as well as their coaches and boosters, for their successes during the 2025-26 school year. The event, held on June 9, recognized more than 30 high school seniors for their overall excellence in competition, in the classroom, and within the community. These students were honored not just for their athletic performance, but for demonstrating strong character and leadership throughout the season.
The banquet also paid tribute to the coaches and booster club members who support these young athletes year after year. Their dedication helps create a positive environment where students can thrive both on the field and off. The Better Sports Club of Arlington has a long tradition of encouraging youth sports and promoting the values of teamwork and sportsmanship. This year's ceremony continued that legacy, bringing together families, school officials, and community members to celebrate a season of hard work and achievement. The evening served as a reminder of the important role athletics play in shaping responsible and well-rounded students.
