YouTube TV Drops Paramount Channels Amid Failed Negotiations
February 13, 2025 - 21:16
YouTube TV has announced that it will no longer carry Paramount channels, including CBS and CBS Sports, following a breakdown in negotiations. This decision comes at a particularly inconvenient time, as major sporting events like March Madness and The Masters are just around the corner. Fans of college basketball and golf may find themselves unable to access their favorite programming through the popular streaming service.
The affected channels include CBS, CBS Sports Network, and several other Paramount-owned networks. This move marks a significant shift in YouTube TV's offerings, as CBS has been a staple for many viewers, especially during high-profile sporting events. The inability to reach a new agreement has left subscribers disappointed, as they will miss out on key broadcasts that are central to their viewing experience.
As the landscape of streaming services continues to evolve, this development raises questions about the future of content availability and the ongoing negotiations between providers and networks. Subscribers will need to explore alternative options to catch their favorite shows and events.
